Please see below a message from a colleague at Belhelvie about the current state of the cemetery:
“After over 6 months of recording issues and problems around the 2 cemeteries at Belhelvie, a meeting has been arranged for people who have family or friends there.
It will be held at Belhelvie Church, Forsyth Hall, at 1230 hours on Saturday, 23 November 2024. There will be a display of photos and information, including questions and concerns raised with Aberdeenshire Council and their responses, followed by a discussion. Tea and coffee with biscuits will be available.
It is about more than just the poor upkeep and the mess from grass cutting. So, it’s an opportunity for people to raise concerns.”
