Summary of Recent Government Advice


  • Get your vaccinations and boosters when eligible
  • Take regular lateral flow tests - especially before mixing with other people or visiting a hospital or care home
  • Follow the guidance on self-isolating and booking a test 
  • Wear a face covering indoors
  • Try to gather in small groups
  • Wash your hands, cover your nose and mouth wehn sneezing and coughing
  • Open windows with meeting indoors

Current Test and Collect Locations


Community Lateral Flow Testing is available to people without Covid symptoms on a voluntary, no appoinment basis across Aberdeenshire. There are decidated sites where people can be tested or pick up home testing kits. Collect only locations continue to be offered as well.

Lateral Flow Test Kits are also available to pick up at one of the Service Points: Reach a Council Office-Aberdeenshire



Local Vaccination Clinics


COVID-19 vaccination drop-in clinics are now available for eligible groups who live or work in the Aberdeenshire area to receive their first, second or booster dose (16+).


Local Clinics include: Scolty Day Centre Banchory, Fraserburgh Community & Sports Centre, Stewarts Hall Huntly, Garioch Vaccination Centre Inverurie, Macduff Sports Centre, Palace Hotel Peterhead, and Stonehaven Town Hall. 


You do not need to be registered with a GP to attend.
